DISTRICT EXECUTIVE

 

District Governor (DG)

The District Governor is an officer of Rotary International and is directly responsible for the administration of the District. The District Governor is Chairman of the District 9810 College of Governors, the District Governor Nominating Committee and together with the District Governor Elect, is an ex-officio member of each committee in District 9810.

District Governor Elect (DGE)

The District Governor Elect is the Governor for the next Rotary year. During the current year, the DGE is responsible for conducting the Presidents Elect Training Seminar (PETS) in March and District Assembly in May. The District Governor Elect is an ex-officio member of all District Committees.

District Governor Nominee (DGN)

The District Governor Nominee is the Governor for the Rotary year two years from now (i.e. commencing 1 July 2010). Our current District Governor Nominee is David Alexander of the Rotary Club of Manningham. The DGN moves through the role of Nominee to Elect to Governor. The period as Governor Nominee involves initial training for the role, planning, visiting clubs and committees and reviewing activities. District Secretary

The District Secretary is responsible for assisting the District Governor with correspondence and various administrative tasks including maintaining district records and databases and sending reports and returns to Rotary International. District Treasurer
