A monthly message for your bulletin:
Why not publish the messages from our RI President or our district governor?
You can use a direct quote or a copy of the district governor's speeches.
The RI President has a message section on the RI website. He publishes a monthly message which is worth sharing with all your club members.
The Rotary News Room on the RI website:
The Rotary News Room is a great source of information on activities, events, programs, and the people of Rotary. The information is regularly updated. Editors of Rotary club and district publications are welcome to reprint all or part of any item. News Room contents may be distributed to public news organizations without special permission but please acknowledge your news source.
Our tip:
If you are wanting to copy an article or even just a portion of an article, it is easily done. First, highlight the required portion, then right click with your mouse whilst hovering the pointer in that selected section; then, in the menu box that appears, click Copy. Open a Word document, then click Paste by using the drop down menu under Edit, by the icon in the toolbar or using the mouse again by right clicking and then selecting Paste in that drop down menu. The portion of text is then ready for you to edit.
The News Archive is also available from the left sidebar on this page.
Our tip:
An easy way to search for specific topics in extended lists like those in the Archives is to use the Find tool located in Edit on the Browser top menu. Use the Rotary website search engine to also search for news on specific topics.
The ROTI Breadbasket
is a continuous source of good ideas and often, great snippets for your bulletin. This site will be worth visiting frequently.
