Membership and Attendance Report

It is important that Rotary has accurate information of its Membership and Attendance figures. The District is required to report this infornation to Rotary International each month based on returns from every club.

The recommended report form for 2007-08 can be downloaded by clicking on this link: monthly report

An example of how this report should be completed is attached here: monthly report example

The District Attendance Officer is Margaret Riseborough and she is responsible for preparing the consolidated District report of membership and attendance. Please send your report to Margaret by the 10th day of each month so the figures can be incorporated in the district report.

Contact details of the District Attendance Officer are as follows:

Rotarian Margaret Riseborough,

Lot 112, 33 Hillgrove Crescent

Berwick Vic 3806.

Tel: 9702 0649

There are alternative versions of the monthly report currently in use, including one on Club Mate. If you wish to use an alternative report form, please adapt the format so that it includes:

*Those members who did not renew their membership at 30 June 2007. (Including those who resigned as active members and became honorary members.)

*The name and date of joining of any new member.

*The name and date of resignation of any existing member.

Please note that honorary members should not be included in any Membership Report sent to District

The details of what constitutes a 'make up' are shown on page 28 of the 2007-08 District Directory.

When calculating your attendance figures, the following exemptions are not to be included in the attendance figures sent to the Attendance Officer:

(a)11Any member who falls into the "85 years" rule: this is where the total number of years of Rotary service and the member's age together total 85 or greater.

(b)11Honorary members are not counted in the attendance figures.

(c)11When a member has board approval for leave of absence.
